There are probably a bunch of you who remember JARR in its many prior iterations. A lot has changed. Hosting has changed, the world has changed.
In the post-pandemic world that we live in, I am reminded that it is time to embrace the simpler things in life, and I was never happier than when I was actively writing, actively blogging and actively engaged with the internet world in which we live.
So I have come back, with a whole lot of new ideas and new concepts to play with. There have been a million and one changes in my life since last we met.
Some of the new features you will find these days on JARR are going to be my delving into a series of writing prompts, at least once or twice a week; some commentary on Autism in Academia, which you can find more of on a site that will soon be coming of the same name; and book reviews and book talk, of course. After all, it wouldn’t be Just Another Rabid Reader without that, now would it?
What I want to do is add more of ME to the site this go around. I want to connect with my readers in a way I didn’t seem to before, and bring the fun back into things. So yes, there is going to be a new look, a new attitude, and a new climate here.
Strap in and enjoy the ride!
